When you want a multiplayer flashcard game without coordinating a room first, Ranked Match finds opponents on a curated topic and starts the round fast.
Ranked Match is MemorIQ's fastest multiplayer flashcard game. It drops you into a live match on a curated topic without a lobby code, so you can compete right away instead of coordinating a room first. Bots help fill seats so queue times stay short, but the format still plays like a real competitive flashcard session with live scoring and rank placement.
A Ranked Match run is four topic rounds. The first three rounds each use a different topic with three questions, and the fourth ends on a single regular question. Questions come from curated sets or from sets marked high quality by the team. Each round mirrors a hosted multiplayer game with a multiplier phase and an answer phase, with each multiplier choice changing the risk and reward of your round.
Each multiplier changes how aggressively you want to push your score across topics. The mode rewards both solid recall and how you time those decisions.
Ranked Match is best when you want competitive retrieval practice on fresh material without setting up your own room. If you want a private lobby instead, read Host games. If you want more detail on the broader live-game system, see Hosted flashcard games. For solo preparation before you queue, start with Study Mode or Quiz Mode.
